This data is then aggregated to report on a rig\u2019s performance in the various functions involved in the drilling of a well.<\/p>\n<p><u><b>What are the benefits of rig activity analysis?<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Once the data has been analyzed for a number of wells, performance comparisons can be made; rig to rig, crew to crew, well to well, area to area, etc. These results can be used to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rank rigs and assess their relative value vs cost<\/li>\n<li>Identify pacesetter performance in all functional areas<\/li>\n<li>Identify best practices<\/li>\n<li>Standardize operations &amp; improve consistency<\/li>\n<li>Identify procedural &amp;\/or technology upgrade requirements<\/li>\n<li><u><b>REDUCE DRILLING TIME &amp; COST<\/b><\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is rig activity analysis?
